MAY // Double Vision came out of the early pandemic days when we were all stuck at home. I would go for daily walks just to get outside, crossing the street if anyone was coming down the road just to be safe. In the yards of my Los Angeles neighborhood are different types of cacti (more than I had ever noticed before) and I couldn’t get over the colors of the Opuntia violacea or Santa Rita Prickly Pear. With that as my starting point, and having doodled a bird with multiple faces, Double Vision was born. The playful element of clownfish making the flowers came from the feeling of “quarantine” with my world shrunken down to a few blocks around my house.
This print is 16"x16" with a 3/4” border. Prints will be shipped out as orders come.
About Monthly Editions: On the first of each month a new print will be released and will only be available for that month. Monthly Editions are hand signed and open edition. These fine art prints use high density, archival inks on heavy weight, all-cotton, hot pressed paper with no optical brighteners, creating a smooth, very long lasting print. The size of the prints will vary based on the piece. A couple months of the year Monthly Editions will pause to allow space for a regular limited or open print edition to be released which will stay in the store for a while.
Prints will be shipped in a sturdy shipping tube or rigid mailer, packaged and protected with acid free materials. Please reuse, then recycle the packaging materials as best you can.
International shipping is set at flat rate of $45 per order with an additional $5 per item for most countries. I understand this is a lot but, depending on the country, I need to be able to ship with UPS for reliability and insurance. If the actual shipping cost is lower (Canada will surely be lower), I will reimburse you the difference and you will receive an automated email notifying you about it. In rare cases, I may need to request additional shipping funds to cover shipping expenses.
